A line-up for a story I'm contemplating, which sees an old ship and a classified piece of hardware being pressed into service in the midst of the Dominion War for one mission that could save countless lives.

Commanding Officer = Captain Solin Rixx = Bolian, Male
Widely regarded as one of Starfleet's best, his experience and knowledge set him up as the only person to lead the mission, though first he'd need to assemble the best crew he could.

First / Intelligence Officer = Commander Grey = Human, Male
An expert in information analysis and threat assessment, he was responsible for drawing up the plans for the mission and volunteered to ensure it was a success.

Chief Engineering Officer = Captain Montgomery Scott = Human, Male
Due to being temporally displaced he is the only person in Starfleet who could possibly get the ship operational once more, even though in the beginning he was only involved as a consultant.

Technical Adviser = Sub-Commander Aeris T'Rul = Romulan, Female
Using a cloaking device stolen from the Romulans over a century ago, she was assigned to get it installed and operate it, due to her previous first-hand experience working with Starfleet.

Second / Chief Tactical Officer = Lt. Commander Adele Valentine = Human, Female
Previously an instructor at Advanced Tactical Training, her multitude of skills and strategic prowess will be essential for the mission to succeed.

Chief Flight Control Officer = Lt. Commander Osall = Tiburonian, Male
The former helmsman onboard the U.S.S. Bozeman he once served onboard such a ship and so knows how to handle them, something no one else in Starfleet can boast of.

Chief Operations Officer = Lieutenant Jharta = Vobilite, Female
An efficient, organised and meticulous young officer, many ships seek her out when needing a new ops manager so she was pulled from her former posting to serve onboard.

Chief Medical Officer = Lieutenant Lanyda Xenau = Betazoid, Female
She may be young, but she has already proven herself to be an exceptional battlefield surgeon, having honed her telepathic abilities to help ease the pain of others.
